MR enterography is an alternative to the small intestine diagnostic method. During the examination are not used X-rays, but is used a strong magnetic field.
Before the examination, the patient needs special preparation. One of the main indications for MR enterography is inflammatory diseases of the small intestine (Crohn's disease, inflammation, fistula, abscess, etc.). MR enterography is also used to examine gastrointestinal diseases.
