October 11, 2012 – Starting from October, pregnant woman have the opportunity to register for the state health program as well as at the Woman’s health centers „Vita”.
Pregnancy care is implemented as part of the Cabinet of Ministers’ “Program for maternal and child health improvement in 2012 - 2014”, this means women have the right to receive free of charge gynecologist’s consultations, ultrasonography examinations and blood tests according to the regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers Nr. 611 of 25.07.2006.
According to the program, pregnant women are offered to choose among nine experienced gynecologists of the Woman’s health centers „Vita”: Marina Stepanova, Marina Gutane, Marija Holodova, Diana Agruma, Viktorija Reznika - Martova, Olita Melngaile, Laima Sarguna, Ligita Neimane un Gulmira Van Lubeka.
