For patients' attention:

If the patient is sent to the breast, thyroid, throat, kidney, and testis, peripheral vascular, fetal US examinations, special preparation is not needed. 

If the patient is sent to the abdominal organs ultrasound, then examination must be done on an empty stomach, patient cannot eat at least 6 hours. Only drink water. Medication necessary on a daily basis can be used.

If you need to examine the bladder, about 1 hour prior to examination drink about 1 liter of water. Until examination the bladder cannot be empty.
