Endoscopy
Endoscopy – a modern diagnostic method through which, using special, optical devices, is possible to examine the gastrointestinal tract (hollow organs).
Some of the warning signals that indicate the need for gastrointestinal tract examination: weight loss, chronic abdominal pain or in gastrointestinal tract, chronic pain changes, recently started pain, bleeding, anemia, weight loss, jaundice, appetite disorder, generalized persistent weakness and fatigue.

Upper endoscopy – gastroscopy: in case of esophagus, stomach, gastrointestinal tract disorders (complaints of difficulty in swallowing, burning sensation in the stomach, abdominal pain, vomiting, and slimming).
This examination is carried out on an empty stomach. Prior to examination, do not eat and drink at least six hours. During the examination, the doctor can take tissue samples (biopsy) of the defective areas for the microscopic investigation.
Lower endoscopy – colonoscopy: colon examination. It is accurate and informative examination method that allows diagnosing colon and rectal diseases: colitis, polyps, hemorrhoids and other diseases. To clarify the diagnosis, doctor may take tissue samples (biopsy) for the microscopic investigation, as well as perform various polyp or tumor removals.
