Ophthalmologist Dmitro Chihrinovs will start accepting patients at the MFD Outpatient hospital "Pārdaugava" in June, performing examinations for adults and children.
During a visit to the eye doctor, the doctor will:
- perform a visual acuity test
- determine the refraction, if necessary - will also prescribe a prescription for glasses
- perform a visual field examination
- perform a biomicroscopic examination of the anterior parts of the eye
- conduct direct and indirect ophthalmoscopy
- determine the intraocular pressure of the eye
- determine the diagnosis
- prescribe therapy
- carry out an in-depth evaluation of eye health and dynamic monitoring of adults with chronic diseases
- provide consultations, perform treatment and dynamic monitoring in cases of eye diseases and vision disorders
A specialist from Ukraine communicates in Ukrainian and Russian and also learns Latvian.
