Now compulsory health checks are available on Saturdays at MFD Outpatient hospital “Pardaugava”

June 1, 2012 – Preventive healthcare department (Vienibas gatve 109, Riga) widens its schedule. Except Tuesdays and Wednesdays its services are available on Saturdays as well.
Compulsory health checks are necessary for those, who: are starting a new job, periodically 1-3 times a year (depending on job specifics), if environmental risk factors are changing, if it is initiated by an occupational diseases physician, an employee himself or by an employer. Each employer must provide those employees, who are exposed to harmful factors at work (e.g. PC) with compulsory health checks. This is controlled by State Labor Inspectorate.
Preventive healthcare department of MFD Outpatient hospital “Pardaugava” offers compulsory health checks within one hour.
The open hours are: on Tuesdays 4 pm – 7 pm, on Wednesdays 9 am – 20 pm. Starting from June 2, services are available as well on Saturdays from 12 pm – 3 pm. This is especially significant for those, who cannot make it happen on working days.
Price for compulsory health check for office workers is 11,00 Ls, which includes eye doctor visit, full blood count and conclusion of the occupational diseases physician.
