MFD Healthcare group will support the International Day of Persons with Disabilities

November 25, 2011 – On the 2nd of December, all disabled people, who will visit one of the MFD Outpatient Hospital “Dziednieciba”, or Outpatient Hospital “Mozums-1” will receive free discount coupons for medical services.

About 10% of the world’s population or 650 million people are disabled. According to the data of the Central Statistics Department, in Latvia there are 139 thousands handicapped. Often society doesn’t know how many people in the world are disable or have any disorders, and what are the problems they face. That is why in order to attract people’s attention to the problem of disabled, the General Assembly of the United Nations has proclaimed the 3rd of December to be the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

In the context of this even, on Friday, December the 2nd, disabled of all groups, who will come to one of the MFD outpatient hospitals, and provide their disability certificates, will receive a free of charge coupon, which will give the right to receive MFD’s medical services with a discount up to 50% within one month.

The list of the medical services includes – doctors’ consultations, diagnostics, laboratory examinations, rehabilitation, etc.

The coupons will be distributed at the MFD Outpatient Hospital “Dziednieciba” (15 Rusonu Str., Riga, Kengarags, tel. 67131313), and Outpatient Hospital “Mozums-1” (8 Bruninieku Str., Riga, Center, tel. 67273435).

The other ones are welcome to buy these coupons at the MFD Outpatient Hospital “Dziednieciba”.

Additionally MFD Healthcare Group invites Latvia’s inhabitants to supports disabled people in the context of MFD Charity program “Help” http://help.mfd.lv/en/. The funds collected will give the opportunity to disabled, as well pensioners and children to receive required medical aid free of charge!
