October 11, 2011 - Expanding the range of the services provided, MFD Outpatient Hospital „Pardaugava” invites to the School for future parents.

Expecting a baby is a wonderful time, when future parents are concerned both about the birth of a child and what is expected next. This is the time when a professional advice is required.

MFD Outpatient Hospital „Pardaugava” offers a set of lessons recommended starting from the 30th week of pregnancy. It is possible to visit all lessons or to choose any interesting theme. The classes are held at the MFD Outpatient Hospital „Pardaugava” on Thursday evenings.

School for future parents offers the following sessions:

• pregnancy, preparation for childbirth;

• labor and postpartum period;

• proper breathing;

• all about breastfeeding;

• newborn and infant care;

• handling.

Classes are conducted by the highly qualified specialists - certified midwife Kristine Embure - Zapolska, experienced physical therapist Klaudia Teresa Hela, and pediatrician, pediatric hematologist Irene Voitovic.

Price per one class is 10 Ls, with a partner – 14 Ls. Subscription for six classes gives up to 20% discount.
