What kind of check-ups does MFD Mobile diagnostics offer?

- check-ups of the most demanded specialists in collaboration with the regional general practitioners (e.g., cardiologist, urologist, surgeon, etc.).
The purpose of MFD Mobile diagnostics is to ensure the availability of modern health check-up and timely diagnostics of population in regions of Latvia. The early diagnosis of diseases is a prerequisite for fast cure, so it is important to provide opportunities for preventive examinations at convenient place for patient.
Starting from January 2015 MFD Mobile diagnostics unit is going for trips to regions of Latvia, to offer people possibility to get diagnostic tests, which are not fully provided at local outpatient hospitals. MFD Healthcare Group would like to draw attention of women especially to mammography examinations and invites to follow the schedule of trips of MFD Mobile diagnostics unit and visit a specialist at the convenient place and time.
It is important to know that some services will not cost anything to the patient, such as breast cancer diagnostics that is fully state-funded for 50 – 69 years old women, if the invitation letter is received from the National Health Service. Check-ups with doctor’s referral also are state-funded, only patient fee is necessary, which varies depending on the type of examination.
It is planned to develop Mobile diagnostics unit in the future and to implement ultrasonography service, which is very demanded in regions and in some places even unavailable.
MFD Healthcare group asks General practitioners in regions to inform patients about possibilities to make check-ups, as well as to call or write and inform about specialists, which they would like to meet within the visit of Mobile diagnostics.
