MFD Healthcare group took part in procession dedicated to breast health

June 14, 2011 - Medical and administrative personnel of MFD Healthcare group, their families and friends participated in June 11th charity event.

At 2:00 pm near “Kongresu Nams” was set up a stand, where everyone had an opportunity to test their knowledge about breast health, receive information about methods of diagnosis, and join the procession.

Near “Arena Riga” – the final venue, was demonstrated how to conduct breast ultrasonography.

The mammologist of MFD Outpatient Hospital „Pardaugava” dr. prof. Genadij Trofimovich and gynecologist of Woman’s health centers „Vita” dr. Marina Gutane gave consultations. Special attention was paid to breast self-examination.

„We hope it is not the last event, and we will have further opportunity to remind women about importance of timely diagnosis”, said Anete Smite, the head of MFD Healthcare Group’s visual and functional diagnosis department.
