During the previous years there has been observed a growth of endocrinology diseases among children. The most widespread are diabetes, thyroid gland diseases, obesity, growth disturbances, etc.The “leader” of the endocrinology diseases is diabetes. The most common symptoms are tiredness without an obvious reason, unexplained weight loss, thirst, frequent urination, worsening eyesight, numbness, slow wound healing.
In case of noticing any of these symptoms, it is required to have a consultation of the pediatric endocrinologist in order to prescribe appropriate diagnostics and necessary treatment.
