MFD Healthcare Group reminds about the opportunity to have a conventional tomography examination at the MFD Outpatient Hospital „Dziednieciba” in Riga, Rusonu 15.Conventional tomography is a diagnostic checkup designed to examine lungs, bones, vocal cords, parotid area in case of suspicion of a neoformation, fracture or injury. This method allows receiving data from deep layers without affecting the other organs – skin, muscles and bones.
The head physician of radiology department Elizabete Kadakovska says, “Conventional tomography is a very valuable and as well rarely available examination method in Latvian medical institutions, because it has been replaced with computed tomography (CT) in a short time. Sometimes extensive CT examination is not required, but an ordinary radiography could be not enough to diagnose a disease or injury. At the MFD Outpatient Hospital „Dziednieciba” we are offering the appropriate method of examination for this kind of cases, which as well has a lower dose of radiation”.
New digital equipment Siemens AXIOM Iconos has the additional system for implementation of irrigoscopy, to diagnose neoformations of the gastrointestinal tract at the early stage.
