New surgeon has joined MFD Outpatient Hospital „Pardaugava”

May 12, 2011 – The team of MFD Outpatient Hospital „Pārdaugava” (Riga, Vienibas gatve 109), including 66 doctors, has been completed by the sixth surgeon.
The certified surgeon Andrejs Milcevskis has an eight years’ professional experience at the hospitals of Riga, Daugavpils, Rezekne, Jekabpils and Gulbene. The doctor is graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical Academy of Latvia, and then another 8 years expanded his knowledge at the Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education at the University of Latvia, specializing in the general surgery and thoracic surgery.
The surgeon treats patients with injuries, inflammation of soft tissues and internal organs, tumors (non-malignant and malignant), necrosis, parasitic diseases requiring surgical treatment, and diseases, which can be treated by both a therapist, and a surgeon, depending on the stage of disease and possible complications.
At the MFD Outpatient Hospital „Pardaugava” is available a wide range of visual and functional diagnosis - X-ray, computed tomography, mammography, ultrasound sonography, dopplerography, echocardiography, electrocardiography and gastroscopy.
