Allergy or food intolerance?

Food allergies can include skin and mucous membrane problems, gastrointestinal or respiratory disorders, and systemic reactions. Depending on the severity of the allergy, the products that a person can use are different. For adults, these are cow's milk, eggs, nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy, fish and crustaceans most common. In infancy, the main food allergens are cow's milk and eggs. Often children with cow's milk or egg allergies can use these products in a heat-treated manner. If infants are allergic to cow's milk, great attention should be paid to the infant mixtures.

In case of food intolerance, manifestations are similar to allergies, but these patients do not find specific IgE antibodies to foods, and skin tests are negative. People often “tolerate” a small amount of product, so when you watch the body's reaction, you can vary the amount of the product so that you don't experience unwanted symptoms.
